Peterborough: On October 6th, Brian and I went on a free field trip to Peterborough to see a Cathedral. Yeah....Here's a pic of Bri Guy.
Nottingham: On October 9, Rachel, Taylor, Rosa, Cyril, Katie and I all went to Nottingham for the Goose Fair. The Goose Fair is the 3rd largest fair in the UK. It's a lot like the WillCo fair but bigger and more old-fashioned with palmists and haunted houses. First thing I did when I got there was play a game and I won a stuffed monkey. Then we rode a roller coaster called the "Mighty Mouse".
Then, Cyril and I went into the haunted house and we were thoroughly terrified. We walked around and ate fair food for a little while before taking the tram back into town. In town, there was an international fair with stands that had clothes, food, knick-knacks and other stuff. But first we went to Primark! Primark is a chain of stores that sells nice, cute clothes for dirt cheap. It's great as long as you don't think about the nimble-fingered asian child who made your 3 pound leggings. After buying a scarf for myself and some gifts we went back to the international fair. I bought some gifts, a small tapestry, some bread and cheese and a cupcake for real cheap. It was a fantastic day all together. The next day, My family came! That Sunday, I took them to Lincoln. The car-ride there was interesting as my father was driving a hired stick-shift on the left side of the road and had not printed off directions. We walked around, saw the cathedral, saw the cathedral and got back in time to have dinner in Grantham. That monday after class, I walked them around the Manor, and we went to the Greg for dinner. Delicious. That Tuesday they left for Italy.
